As I stepped out of the bunker, the crisp air hit me like a slap in the face, a stark contrast to the stale atmosphere I'd endured for weeks. The once-quaint village of Raven's Peak lay before me, its streets eerily silent, save for the distant hum of radiation detectors and the occasional, mournful cry of a survivor. I had to admit, the landscape's natural beauty still captivated me, though it was now tainted by the ravages of war. Trees stood as skeletons, their branches like skeletal fingers reaching towards the grey sky. Buildings hung crookedly, as if the very earth had been pulled from beneath them. The result was a desolate, post-apocalyptic landscape, one that seemed to whisper secrets of a long-forgotten past.
